Coatings

Our range of Coating and Varnishes covers a variety of water-based and UV-curable coatings for Offset, Flexo and Screen/Spot and Digital applications

Our UV coatings, with a wide product range, increase the eye-catching of the product with a glossy or matt appearance by making a final touch on the printed materials. As well as providing a protective layer by providing protection against scratches, tears, and fingerprints on your printed materials.

We offer products for various applications, with our wide product range; including paper board, packaging, publishing and labels

UV Coatings

UV coatings are used in a variety of different industries to
enhance the appearance and decorate the substrate. UV
coatings cure through a chemical reaction which happens under
the presence of Ultra Violet radiation. During this reaction,
polymerization occurs along with the cross linking of acrylates.
Hence, resulting in a formation of film like plastic.

Focusing primarily on printing and packaging industry, UV
coatings play a vital role in the production of printed substrate;
Offering wide variety of advantages that include high scuff and
scratch resistance, instant drying, excellent chemical resistance
and a very superior gloss

Water-Based Coatings

Overprint varnishes are widely used in printing and packaging industry among which water-based coatings play a pivotal role in the
production of printed products.

Water-based coatings are cured through the absorption of the coating into the substrate and vaporization of water. Drying is achieved using hot air and Infrared and water is then vaporized from the coating during this process of drying. The polymers then join together to form the coating film.

Their main purpose is to protect the printed substrate, give the desired finishing and extend the printed products with valuable function. Water-based coatings as a result of their advantages have become the leading technology in the printing industry.

Spot Coatings

Spot varnish is a specialized type of varnish coating that’s applied to a specific area of the page, hence the term ‘spot’. This technique is often used in printing to draw attention to certain elements such as photos, text, or design features. You can choose between a glossy or dull finish for your spot varnish, depending on the effect you want to achieve.

Spot varnishes require a unique printing plate, giving you control similar to that of a spot-color. They can be solid or screened, and can even be tinted for special effects. Furthermore, we can combine dull and gloss varnishes, allowing you to have both finishes on a single piece.
